落汤鸡？and Softball Gathering

Last Sat, I had a terrible experience on the road. Maybe I was stupid to ride a bicycle from Boon Lay to Bukit Panjang to attend a dinner at Ibu Fanny's place. The distance of a 1 way journey to her flat is ard 10.66km. Initially the main reason for me cycling to her place was to have a workout to burn some calories away, but it turns out I've become a 落汤鸡. The to- journey was fine, but it began to rain when i was on my way back, and it's no ordinary rain. it's basically a storm, wif lightning. Being desperate, i've decided to take the shortcut thru a narrow, dark path which was surrounded by forest, warehouses etc. (bus 174 ulu ulu route @ jurong road). Yes I was alone. But wat was in my mind was not whether i'll be haunted by ghost (cos dat stretch used to be a Chinese Cemetry), but is to get home ASAP to hear the results of the general elections, and also to get out of heavy rain..........in the end, i did RUSH HOME, but i've became a 落汤鸡。。。。。Hope to get the photos taken at Ibu's hse ASAP and i'll post some.

The activity on Sunday was more interesting......Softball team gathering......to bid farewell to Keigo who is returning to Japan....and 顺便 bid farewell to the final years cos we r graduating from WCU and hence leaving the team (but Eugene is not). Here r some shots taken:

Dinner at Newton Hawker Ctr.....The air there sux. 3 words: HOT, SMOKY, OILY. I still perfer BBQ seafood at Boon Lay market.......
