Tugas di KL 21-24Oct, 4-7Nov

Finally completed my two times 'mission' in KL....For work purpose. it was a fulfilling journey, with lotsa learning experiences, and of course, bearing in mind my assigned task. My knowledge of basic malay proved useful. think of it, if i were to stay in malaysia for a longer period of time, my malay will definitely improve to a large extent, since all chinese/canto drama shown there have malay subtitles.

Sad to say, none of the strangers i met on road, be it taxi driver/ hawkers managed to guess my nationality correctly, be it whether i speak in english or malay....

Traffic is horrible + terrible. ..that's the best description......

basically JA described the road as a 'moving carpark' during peak hours, which means that the vehicles seemed to be stationary and parked nicely on the road from far....becos the road is always jammed.....well, from what i noe is, becos the public transport network is quite bad apparently, thus the locals still prefer to drive around as many of the places in the city are still not easily accessible by public transport.

Check out the shots, all of them were took during my first trip:

i chose to eat simple these few days, first day i went to their typical halal food court, eating the BBQ stingray and Penang hokkien mee.... That's what the hawker said to me. btw, i tried to talk their accent to make sure that i can be understood:
Hawker: 你似哪里人 (你是哪里人)??? (asking for my nationality -- she knows i am not a local)
Me: 你猜 la..
hawker: 不是泰国人就是印尼人......(i'm immuned to it alr.....she's not the only one who guessed that i am a Thai/ Indon....almost all (taxi drivers/ hawkers, etc) that talked about my nationality there made these guesses........)
Me:(pengz.....) 不是。。。。我是新加坡人.
Hawker: huhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh?????? 你是新加坡人???? 新加坡人酱黑的????? 我以为新加坡人都几好命wor....不是天天吹冷气, 不用晒太阳的meh???????

Me: (juz smiled at her...........) (thinking: hello, juz to let u know, i haf no air con at home........ i need to work under the sun..........)
But probably that's how Singaporeans are stereotyped........

2nd nite was.............well....fine....out with the 'Highness' ++ Twin towers + german restaurant. Totally European style and mainly patronized by foreigners..... My feedback was that the food aerved there is good...but, i'm not hopeful that if one could survived if it's opened in Singapore....The speed at which the food were served is simply TOO SLOW......waited like more than 30 mins for my order...luckily wasn't very hungry then...

Chose to go simple on the final nite again.......juz a plate of fried oyster and pumpkin cake...at this place called "Oyster king"

Ending off with a shot taken at the hotel.....basically very satisfied with the accomodation....as i think i'm quite easily contented as it contains all basic facilities and the room is quite big too, at only 235RM++ per nite.

It's really tiring there..imagine i only get around 5 hrs of sleep per day......when i'm back home i juz simply became lethargic....and slept for more than 12 hrs in total......
